Position Description: Case management is a collaborative process. They work closely with physicians, nurses, social workers and a wide range of medical and non-medical professionals to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans. Case managers work to meet complex patient needs. They make provisions for current and future needs of patients. Case management nurses promote quality care which encourages appropriate use of available resources.

Ptarmigan Connections Neuropsychologist

Position Description: The neuropsychologist will participate in team-based neurodevelopmental evaluations (e.g., FASD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, and High Risk Infant Follow-Up Evaluations). Additionally, Ptarmigan Connections has created a pre-doctoral psychology internship program that is in keeping with APPIC guidelines. Therefore, we are seeking a neuropsychologist who is interested in clinical supervision.

Ptarmigan Connections Speech-Language Pathologist

Position Description: This position is responsible for assessment and treatment of speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children birth through age 18. SLP will provide evidence-based interventions based on evaluation and care plan recommendations and procedures. Team-based assessment and continuum of care is a part of the neurodevelopmental approach.

Position Description: This position can comprise of a variety of treatment services including individual, group, and family therapy to patients from early childhood to adolescents. The LPC is to complete initial and comprehensive mental health assessments, and develop and carry out goals and objectives throughout treatment.

Position Description: This position is responsible for a variety of tasks such as implementing activities designed to develop pre-language and language skills with infants and toddlers; and providing evidence-based interventions for patients who have identified speech, language, and feeding disorders.

Ptarmigan Connections Mat-Su Psychology Internship Consortium

Position Description: The mission of the Mat-Su Psychology Internship Program (Mat-Su PIC) is to prepare and retain pediatric health service psychologists who provide a collaborative approach to educational, neurodevelopmental, and integrated health psychology. Mat-Su PIC offers one-year, full-time doctoral internships beginning and ending in July each year. The start date for the 2018-2019 cohort is July 2018.
